How to know if someone is trying to connect with you?

Accepting a connection request is essentially a friend request. You’re approving access of your information and to collaborate directly with another member of the community.

On the top right, you will see an icon bar.

The Connection Requests will have an orange circle over it with a number indicating your connection requests in the community. There is also a “New!” notification as you are sent a notification when someone is trying to connect with you.

When clicking the Notifications icon, you will then see who is trying to connect with you.

Based on your email notification settings, you will also receive an email notification regarding your new connection request.

When clicking the Connection Requests icon, you are now able to either connect or send message.

If you know the name of the person you’re trying to find, you can simply start to type their name.
